Itinerary

Day 0: Departure from Bengaluru

    Journey to Chikmagalur!

    As the sun sets over Bengaluru, our adventure begins as we head towards Chikmagalur. We'll embark on a comfortable journey of 300 km in a Tempo Traveler or minibus with push-back seats.

    We'll pick up our fellow explorers at the following locations.

  • 10:00 PM - Goraguntepalya
  • 10:10 PM - Yeshwanthpura
  • 10:25 PM - KTM Mekhri Circle
  • 10:45 PM - MG Road
  • 10:55 PM - Domlur
  • 11:05 PM - Koramangala
  • 11:15 PM - Silk Board
  • Overnight journey to Chikmagalur (7-9 hours)
Day 1: Arrival and Acclimatization
  • 05:00 AM - Arrive at homestay in Samse/Mullodi, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • 06:30 AM - Explore homestay surroundings or relax
  • 12:00 PM - Lunch at homestay
  • 02:00 PM - Optional visit to nearby tea estates or local attractions
  • 07:00 PM - Dinner and campfire (weather permitting)
  • Overnight stay in dormitory or tents
Day 2: Trek to Netravati Peak
  • 06:00 AM - Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • 06:30 AM - Jeep ride to trek base (Forest Office, Mullodi)
  • 07:30 AM - Obtain permits and start trekking (6-9 km)
  • 08:00 AM - 10:30 AM - Trek through Shola forests, waterfalls, and grasslands
  • 10:30 AM - Reach peak, enjoy views, and have packed lunch
  • 01:30 PM - Begin descent to base (3-4 hours)
  • 05:30 PM - Reach homestay, evening snacks
  • 07:30 PM - Campfire, team activities, and dinner
  • Overnight stay in dormitory or tents
Day 3: Exploration and Return
  • 07:00 AM - Wake up, freshen up, and have breakfast
  • 08:00 AM - Visit Samse Tea Estate or Kodige Waterfalls
  • 09:30 AM - Optional visit to Belur Temple or Doddagaddavalli Temple
  • 10:00 AM - Depart for Bengaluru (7-8 hours)
  • 01:30 PM - Self-sponsored lunch en route
  • 06:00 PM - Optional coffee break (self-sponsored)
  • 10:00 PM - 11:00 PM - Arrive back in Bengaluru at drop-off points
